Anne Eekhout is a Dutch novelist. She has written four novels, a novella and a picture book.

All novels have been nominated for Dutch literary prizes. Her third novel, Nicolas and the Disappearance of the World, has been awarded with the Prize for Best Book for Young Adults.

Mary (Mary and the Birth of Frankenstein, Mary; or the Birth of Frankenstein) is Eekhout’s fourth novel and is translated into thirteen different languages.

Eekhout lives in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
